1) Bolt Type Anchor Shackle meets the performance requirements of Federal Specifications RR-C271D type IVB, Grade A, Class 1, except for those provisions required of the contractors.
2) Capacity 1/3 thru 55 metric tons. Working Load Limit permanently shown on every shackle. 3) Forged-Quenched and Tempered, with alloy pin. 4) Hot dip galvanized, electric galvanized or self-colored. 5) Fatigue rated. 6) Crosby products meet and exceed all the requirements of ASME B30.26 including identification, ductility, design factor, proof load and temperature requirements. Importantly, Crosby products meet other critical performance requirements including fatigue life, impact properties and material traceabiliby, not addressed by ASME B20.26. 7) Shackles 55 metric tons and small can be furnished proof tested with certificates to designated standards, such as ABS, DNV, Lloyds, or other certification. |
